Abstract:
In the past few months, many countries have witnessed significant transformations and reforms in their higher education systems, including the emergence of new types of institutions. These changes have also affected the education sector, especially secondary schools and universities, which are a prerequisite for preparing employees for the labour market. With the advent of the coronary crisis, both the labour market and educational institutions had to adapt very quickly to the situation. The whole world has quickly established itself in the online world, which has created new jobs in the labour market, new scientific directions as well as challenges in the traditional education system. To approach this problem, this paper looks first at the new challenges in labour market and educational system. Second, it examines some concrete implications of these challenges, opportunities, innovations, experiences, and new technologies. The research on the relationships between higher education and the world of work has been closely linked during the recent one to two years to changing themes of policy, health situation in the world and practise. There were some indicators of research in this area being an agent of developing the higher education to the employment system. A closer look reveals that the range of research approaches is very broad and that a common core of themes and approaches emerged which provides the opportunities for long-term growth, renewal, but also the introduction of new technologies in the world of education and the labour market. The contribution of the paper is the proposal of activities supporting the education of university students who use adaptation to the requirements of the labour market and the development of other knowledge and skills, gain competitive efficiency in the labour market even in times of coronary crisis or other labour market challenges.
