SURVEY OF E-LEARNING AS A TOOL FOR PROGRESSIVE EDUCATION FORM

The contribution is focused on e-learning support in educational process at the university. E-learning resonates in recent years as the current and increasingly used method of education. Education must reflect social needs and market requirements. Development confirms that e-learning occupies more and more important place on the market. Education and learning with the support of electronic media, or with the support of information and communication technology is changing the world. The paper presents the results of the research which was realised at the University of Žilina. Survey was conducted among teachers and students of bachelor and master study at the University of Žilina. The survey was carried out through the questionnaire in electronic and written form. The survey is focused on the real perception and use of e-learning, satisfaction of students with e-learning at the University of Žilina and tools of e-learning that are used. The paper presents experience and attitudes of students and teachers to e-learning.
