Abstract:

The goal of any organisation is to obtain profit and meet employee and customers requirements.
Balanced Scorecard allows managing performance by synchronising goals of perspectives, so after effective implementation is considered the method of effective communication and strategy realization method, and so the organization can face the prosperity. Balanced Scorecard presents review of goal fulfilment, so it allows to evaluate organizations situation and accept measures. This system analyzes information about strategy effectiveness and it can be suggestion for strategy correction or creating new strategy. Benchmarking is the method of motivation and performance improvement, because of gained information by benchmarking can be used for systematic improvement and transparent realization of strategy and goals in praxis. Paper deals with implementation of modern strategic management methods. The results of own survey offer analysis of present state of benchmarking and Balanced Scorecard implementation in Slovak organizations, advantages of methods and problems connected with implementing them.
