Abstract:
Knowledge becomes a new strategic resource that often endanger an individual and his irretrievability. Implementation of knowledge management methods in the organisation meets often with braking influence of corporate culture and firm philosophy. Disestimation of knowledge management leads to the loss of firm competitiveness at the market by long innovation periods, production of uncompetitive products and in the end it leads to the loss of customer base and departure from company of key emploees. The implementation of knowledge management is financially challenging and time-consumig matter with participation of specialists from various spheres. Effectiveness of the implementation of knowledge management assure systematic approach which determines sequence and contents of its certain phases. The paper deals with the state of knowledge management in organizations in Slovak republic, what knowledge organizations in these days consider as critical, what contributions in knowledge management are most needed.Keywords:
