Abstract:
This article discusses the various functions instructors. The spectrum of the different roles ranges from the classical responsibility to impart knowledge to a position in which the instructor becomes the instructed. In this constellation, interaction and the instructor's presentation methodology are important. Because of these dynamic processes, there is an "automatic" tendency for conflicts to arise between the various functions instructors have. While treating students as equal partners implies a loss of power, students learn to reflect critically on pedagogical processes on the one hand and to take on responsibility on the other hand. Exactly this feedback harmonizes instructors' multifunctionality. Keywords:
university teaching, knowledge transfer, university instructor.
