Abstract:
The main aim of the (e)VET2EDU project is to adapt and transfer an e-learning course for educators in the VET sector from a local to an international course. The original course has been developed by the Centre of e-learning at Akademia Górniczo Hutnicza im. St. Staszica w Krakowie (AGH-UST) in Poland.
The project addresses the needs for innovative pedagogies and methods for VET by equipping educators with an e-course that introduces collaborative social learning and learning outcomes based on defined competences and development of the student’s ability to reflect on his own learning processes during the course. Thus it will give VET institutions the ability to enhance teachers’ pedagogical skills combined with ICT innovative exploitation.
An international multilingual version of the course has been achieved through the project using partners in eight different European nations. Piloting courses in all participating countries are being held from November 2013 to March 2014.Keywords:
