Abstract:
This paper presents a summary of experience with e-learning implementation at the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen and High School of Nursing and Higher Professional School of Nursing in Pilsen. The e-learning course was prepared with attention to detail and to pedagogical aspects. Prepared module focused on topic: “Disinfection, sterilization and nosocomial infections prevention”. The content of prepared course was differed regarding different level of knowledge in these types of school. The difference was in intensity of study and requirements for verification of knowledge. After testing prepared educational material the questionnaire was used to find out, which group of students has effectively used e-learning and which group finds out e-learning as a suitable complement of contact teaching. Main assumption was that e-learning as a basic tool for gaining theoretical information is more suitable for university students than for high school students. Other question for consideration was why it is that so. After that we focused on reasons that cause students´ lack of interest in the field of e-learning and prevent them to use it actively.
