Abstract:
This article presents the authors' experience in informal education. They are representatives of various educational institutions. The authors’ work in universities in the field of music pedagogy and sound engineering. Their theoretical, pedagogical and practical experience inspires them to combine different fields of knowledge in a projec dedicated to music workshops with target group - children aged 4-7 years. The authors are motivated to choose this age group due to the increased interest and relevance of the problem of early acquaintance with digital technologies. Digital sound is the main focus of the current music and creative workshops.

The music studios are planned with different topics. In pespective the goal is to arouse children's interest in music through different aspects of the music.and sound fields.

Presenting some of the possibilities of the digital sound aims to introduce the idea of sound recording, direct participation in the whole process - until the finalization of the music product. The way to reach this goal is by experience the qualities of sound with the help of a sound library, comparing acoustic and synthesized sound.

In the course of determining the timbre qualities of sound, various sensory stimuli are used, through which children are stimulated to expand the associative circle of already known objects and phenomena and to create new perceptual correlations. Particular attention is paid to tactile stimulations, which are recreated through a fairy-tale storyline on the one hand and on the other - through various material objects and substances with diverse textures.

The approach to sound processing includes sound recording of own musical examples (compositions), real-time processing and the ability to select the best samples from the participants themselves. The technological processing of the sound is accomplished by professional software, and the children are participants in the whole process. The idea of creative improvisation of musical material and attempts to create music - melodies and rhythm by children is embedded in various topics of the general plan of the workshops.
