Abstract:
The relationship between institutions such as universities and schools is particularly productive and oriented towards the future. With reference to this, the focus of the present article is the interaction between different educational institutions which operate in the sphere of higher and secondary education.

Here is presented a project realized in cooperation between National Academy of Music “Proff. Pancho Vladigerov”- Sofia, and University of Ruse “Angel Kanchev”. Students are included in the project, representatives of secondary education from specialized music schools, as well as students from general education schools.

The project aims to optimize music education by popularizing Bulgarian composers and their professional music works. This current project is part of the topic: STUDY OF THE BULGARIAN NATIONAL CHARACTER THROUGH THE PRISM OF THE HUMANITIES AND ART - global research topic of „Angel Kanev“ University of Ruse.

The collaboration between institutions is of great importance and plays an important role in shaping the contemporary trends in education. In order to form an environment providing vocational training and creating fruitful and effective contacts with future employers, the implementation of joint projects between institutions is in the mutual interest of all active parties in the process. The projects between the different institutions which comprise the Bulgarian education system are directly related to the common processes and trends of the European Union.

The article introduces current form of cooperation, where all participants unite their efforts in order to develop specialized elaboration for the needs of music pedagogy and music education process.

During the accomplishment of the project several educational seminars were held, good practices are presented, additional creative incentives are provided for solving problem-creative tasks by the participants. The realization itself includes face-to-face and online sessions. The final stage of the project results in a music-educational pedagogical resource for the purpose of training the students in all participating institutions.
