Abstract:
At all times, learning mathematics has been a major concern of educational policies in all countries. Many efforts to make mathematics as attractive and comprehensible as ever began with the creation of primitive teaching tools. They have undergone a continual change, playing an important role in perfecting this process, where the golden age begins with the introduction of the computer into our lives.

During the years different information and communication technologies has been used to support the process of development mathematical, abstract and creative thinking.

Nowadays, a lot of software – computer programs and internet applications, not only facilitates the learning of mathematics but also makes it more qualitative and productive. In this article, we will discuss how information and communication technologies (ICT) development has progressed alongside mathematics teaching. The article presents the role that ICT has played in perfecting teaching techniques in different periods of technology development and how is the situation in Albania. It discusses what are the policies followed by the relevant institutions in Albania for the implementation of technology in mathematics teaching. he conclusion provides constructive recommendations about the effective use of the ICTs in math teaching in Albania according to the current ICT infrastructure and regulatory framework.
