Abstract:
In the contemporary higher education environment focused on STEM fields (science, technology, engineering and mathematics), a key challenge is the adaptation of educational processes to rapid technological progress. Traditional forms of teaching are becoming insufficient for preparing future industrial and mechanical engineers for the requirements of Industry 4.0. The implementation of educational robotics into curricula represents a significant innovative element that enhances not only student engagement but also the efficiency of knowledge transfer into practice. The main aim of this paper is to present the results of an analysis of the current state and application of educational robotics in technical education. The methodological basis of the work is a bibliometric analysis of relevant scientific data from the international databases Web of Science and Scopus. Through quantitative and qualitative indicators, we identify key trends, dominant technologies and innovative pedagogical approaches in the investigated field. The synthesis of the acquired knowledge serves as a basis for the optimisation of educational programmes in the fields of industrial and mechanical engineering. The findings provide the academic community with a practical framework for the effective design of curricula in accordance with the latest global trends in the field of robotisation and digitalisation of education.
