Abstract:
The pandemic of the COVID-19 forced universities to completely transform the teaching-learning process. Both sides of this process, student and the teacher, have been forced to change their long-established habits. Teachers needed to accommodate their teaching materials and course activities to the online environment. Often it meant to transfer their spoken words into the digital content or create the online activities from the activities that used to be conducted person on person. The students had to learn how to consume all the course by just sitting by their computers and not to lose focus, motivation and maintain their physical and mental health. Both parties failed these challenges multiple times. The aim of this paper is to demonstrate such a transformation of the course that have always been taught by engaging students into discussions and used case studies elaborated in the groups. The paper contains examples of the transformed activities from the teacher and opinions of the students about their efforts and their engagement.
