Abstract:
Education has a key role in developing the attitudes, knowledge and skills of each individual. The development of the society can be ensured only through a quality education system that can prepare the graduate for everyday life, but also for professional practice. According to the type of education provided by a school or other school facility, these institutions can be divided into three levels. The aim of secondary education is to develop the knowledge acquired through primary education and to equip students with skills for practice or for preparation for tertiary education. Due to its wide scope, secondary education is provided by several types of schools and school facilities. Each type of school is specific not only by the way of education and school curricula, but also by the students who attend them. Given that schools of secondary education are attended by adolescents, who are characterized by maturation of personality and the development of self-confidence, it is essential that these schools educate students in the field of values and good morals. At present, there is a higher level of aggression and violent behavior among adolescents, which can lead to bullying in cyberspace. The paper deals with the perception of bullying in cyberspace by students of two different types of secondary schools. The aim of the paper is to propose innovative forms of education and awareness for adolescents in the cyberbullying prevention.
