Abstract:
Nowadays, Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) provide us with a wide range of possibilities to assist, enrich and transform education. The aim of this paper is to take the advantage of one of the most influential models, such as the Flipped Classroom, in such a way that students achieve a greater integration in their own teaching-learning process.

This proposal presents a new focus of the classic model in order to include a peer teaching methodology. In this proposal, students are in charge of generating multimedia materials that are provided to other students. Following a lecture and other support, students are assigned to solve specific problems and record them as video-tutorials. Then, these video-tutorials are shared among other students. Therefore, this increases not only the acquisition of competences of the students that receive the materials but also the acquistion of competences and motivation of the students that generate the materials. In addition, this proposal promotes cooperative work, creativity and problems resolution skills. This adaptation of the classic Flipped Classroom model was applied, analyzed and evaluated in three different groups of students (29, 29, and 22 students, respectively) in the Maths subject of a Secondary School.
