Abstract:

This paper investigates the evolving academic discourse surrounding employability in postgraduate education using a bibliometric approach. Based on Web of Science publications between 2015 and 2025, it examines research productivity, co-authorship networks, citation patterns, and thematic clusters. Emerging trends highlight the growing emphasis on digital skills, experiential learning, and institutional-industry partnerships aimed at improving graduate outcomes. European literature often focuses on skill-based credentialing, career guidance systems, and alumni tracking, whereas Middle Eastern contributions prioritize innovation hubs, public-private partnerships, and entrepreneurship training. The study reveals that while the volume of research has increased, significant gaps remain in evaluating program outcomes and aligning postgraduate curricula with market demands. The paper concludes with suggestions for designing more responsive, multidisciplinary postgraduate education models that integrate professional skills, practical exposure, and intercultural competencies to foster long-term employability.
