Abstract:
Entrepreneurship is one of the most effective means of reducing unemployment and promoting economic growth. Undoubtedly, entrepreneurship education plays a central role in channelling the entrepreneurial attitude toward entrepreneurial intentions. Since the beginning of the 21st century, the popular approach of a business school pedagogy of entrepreneurship education is raising attention and culminate when entrepreneurial students start a new business and run it successfully. This constricted paradigm is widely replicated in the universities and still students are instructed to create a company as to become entrepreneurs. However, there is much more to discover when a broader view is proposed and a disruptive approach of entrepreneurship education is described. This is a prospective article that is centred in the benefits of building students´ entrepreneurial mindset. Some common attributes associated with an entrepreneurial mindset include creativity, empathy, resilience, self-sufficiency, and the ability to learn from failure. These traits underpin the making of an entrepreneur and can be learned.
