Abstract:
The information and knowledge society means new challenges, challenges that have direct consequences in the field of Education. While the student must receive specific training in the instrumental areas he/she must also acquire teaching strategies on the use of the Information and Communication Technologies (ICT).
This new education framework must start from a collaborative work where teachers assume common methodological principles. Only through this approach we will be able to integrate these educational technologies as useful resources in the teaching-learning processes, contributing to increase the students’ motivation.
Therefore, this paper shows a case study developed in a public High School in the city of Zaragoza (Spain) through the integration of ICT in the subject of Spanish Language and Literature (SLL). It is an example of how to integrate these technologies to develop prescriptive curriculum contents in the new 2.0 web. The research was developed in the academic year 2010-2011 and consisted in the introduction of ICT in the analysis of advertisements. Multiple ads’ messages and images were analysed. Keywords:
