Abstract:
The educational implementation of up-to-date digital technologies is a key objective of the modern school in primary education. The application of Information and Communications Technology (ICT) and the web 2.0 communication, contribute to shaping an environment of cooperative learning, as well as a creative interaction between users. The students through the active participation and the conformation become co-creators and not mere recipients. The educational implementation of wikis is of great interest, as it contributes to co-building of knowledge.

The aim of this paper is to present the development of a creative writing project through the web 2.0 in primary education. The main research question is how elementary school students make full use of the capabilities of wikis, in the context of teamwork teaching, project method, making use of web 2.0 applications for the development of creative writing, the artistic approach to reading books and final evaluations, while taking experiential activities.

The action was carried out on pupils of the fifth grade of primary in Greece, within the “daily activity zone” and the timetable hours available for contact with the Literature and involved the development of positive relationships between student - reader and text, as well as computer. In particular, the aim was the experiential engagement of students with text and activities in a playful way. The entry of the material took place in the school computer laboratory, using specific digital applications embedded in the wiki class, which were also remotely editable (on any other computer outside school). Students working in groups approached the questions - activities given to them and gradually filed the results of their work.

From the assessment of action and the data collection, emerged that the implementation of the work plan using wiki contributed to favour creativity, to develop social skills of users through cooperation, to cultivate creative writing, critical thinking and metacognitive capacity in the process of integrating activities, acquisition of ICT user skills in educational practice.
