DEVELOPING THE MODEL OF HYBRID ORGANIZATION FOR COMPANIES OPERATING IN IT SPHERE IN THE CITY OF NEW YORK

Abstract:
Introduction:
COVID-19 has increased the number of companies moving to digital business models. 66% of companies worldwide reconsidered the organization of working place, among them: Adobe, Salesforce, Spotify, Twitter, and Microsoft, etc. According to research, about 80% of companies have necessary potential for introducing digital business models, however, only 37% of them apply it, which undermineas the maintenance of high level of productivity during the pandemic COVID-19 (Jeske, 2022, Kronblad, 2021). 70% of U.S. companies say that they plan to adopt a hybrid work organization model.
Relevance:
Due to COVID-19 pandemic, members of the U.S. government transited 68% of companies to a full or part remote work format, that permitted to conduct research of remote worker productivity. The results of the study conducted in Facebook company, which transited 95% of its employees to remote work, showed that productivity of 50% workers did not changed, besides, 40% of workers gave preference to continue remote work in future. (Liao, 2022, Lee, 2022).
Objective:
The paper is to analyze the main factors affecting the remote work of IT enterprises in New York City and develop a model for hybrid work organization.
Methods:
The study used a survey of 24 companies involved in the development of IT marketing solutions in New York City (each company has from 300 to 500 employees) by means of questioning of employees working remotely in the selected companies and interviewing external experts. The method of obtaining secondary data was a critical analysis of the literature, collection of statistical data, which examine the system of remote work.
Conclusions:
The results of the research reflect the different experiences of companies' transition to the remote work format, highlighting the main factors influencing remote work organization in IT sphere, which the author used to developed the hybrid system of remote work. The results of the survey were processed using SPSS, applying such criteria as Kolmogorov-Smirnov, Cronbach's Alpha. The paper outlines several practical suggestions that may pave the way for a more favorable experience of companies in the transition to a remote work format, as well as developes a model for the organization of hybrid work.

This article outlines practical suggestions that may directly or indirectly impact companies' experience when moving to a remote work format, 40% of IT companies report 56% decrease of productivity among stuff working remotely, while the growing Tendency of the IT market in New York City continues, with costs projected to increase by 5.5% to $4.8 billion in 2022 (Gartner, 2022).Keywords:
