Abstract:
Teaching methods evolve along with new technologies. Modern teaching processes are no longer only about teachers lecturing and bored students listening. Interactivity has arrived on the scene. The audience become actors involved in the process who really enjoy learning. The paper focuses on student teachers and their perception of SMART technologies. SMART technologies can be described as modern didactic equipment including interactive whiteboard, tablet and touchscreen phones. Students will meet with these technologies in education and tablet and touchscreen phones are mainly used for private purposes. The research presented can be seen as a quantitative probe. We mainly concentrate on the description of the state and identification of the student teachers opinions. The aim is to describe the current state of knowledge and the use of SMART technologies in education from the perspective of student teachers in the field of Teaching the First Grade in a Primary School. The basic research question is determined as follows: What is the view of student teachers on the use of SMART technologies in teaching in the 1st grade of a primary school?The research results indicate that in general students perceive technologies positively, but it is necessary to work on their training to use these technologies in the context of practice.Keywords:
