Abstract:
During and after the pandemic lockdown, our Department of Physics developed various laboratory sessions using the Geogebra software (https://www.geogebra.org/). These sessions were initially validated by ourselves and later by some students. To obtain a direct comparison and more realistic feedback, we implemented both in-person and online versions of the lab in the Fundamental Physics I subject of the Telecommunications Degree at the High Polytechnic School of the University of Alicante.
The lab session was conducted following the theoretical classes on error treatment and propagation. The chosen experiment was “Study of the Force Between Two Magnets.” Students first performed the in-person version using analog measurements, and in the following session, they completed the online version. It is important to note that during the second session, students already had prior experience with the physical concepts involved, gained from the first session.
A few weeks later, students completed a survey evaluating their opinions on the two experiences. In this work, we present the results of that survey. Keywords:
