Abstract:
Interior designers should not only be the one who pursues current fashion and trends but also be the one who is the originator of new life styles and pioneer of new trends. Because, the progressive and innovative spaces designed by interior designers, constitutes a foresight and infrastructure for new life styles in society, and it guides, even forces, users of the spaces to innovation. In order to educate designer who has responsibility to guide the society, interior design education contents should be formed both experimental and innovative, as well. Today, unlike the conventional education curriculum, the education of product design (designing every kind of innovative products to be used in interior design), engineering based educations (nano technology and using this technology in space design), and new kind computer aided design education (using the software which is beyond existing software and can be able to realize interactive space fiction) should be used as much as possible in interior design curriculum and interdisciplinary studies should be considered.
The aim of this study is provide opportunity, to teach interior designers who has different abilities that corresponds demands of the age via developing suggestions, to build interdisciplinary background in interior design education curriculum.
