Abstract:
Our academic institution still relies more on imparting the pedantic knowledge to students rather than focusing more on the applied knowledge that can only be attained through the practical experiences or the industrial experiences. A Graduate needs to be trained as soon as he enters the industry because he is not aware of the Enterprise environment, Enterprise culture, the rules and regulation, the working climate, the employee code of conduct and the actual responsibility of work that has been vested upon him by the employers. The employee cannot be put to work directly because he is not trained; therefore Enterprise needs to provide rigorous training before handing over the work and responsibilities to the new recruit. Training that is provided to the employee is generally of two types, that is On the job training and Off the job training, which makes Enterprise spend a good amount of money on training and employee reimbursement during the training period that is cost effective and time consuming.
In order to bridge this lacuna between the Enterprise and the Academic Communities, I have done exploratory research to provide a route so as to create fraternization between the Enterprise and the Academic Communities. The paper “Enterprise And Academic Community Fraternization: A Route to bridge the lacuna” uses literature to investigate the problem which creates barrier for fraternization of Enterprise and Academic Community and provides various solutions to bridge this lacuna Keywords:
