Abstract:
The research program aims to illustrate various teaching and learning methodologies were used in and out of the classroom, to stimulate creative expression, thereby leading to critical thinking and enhancing the innovative learning process in a multicultural learning environment.

Through our research program, we will share with our elite audience how we developed our learners’ inherent creative talents, using drama, role-play, dialogue making, spontaneous interviews, to name some of the few techniques used during the study.

Instead of putting emphasis on rote memorization of data, we encouraged cultivating the imagination. Students were encouraged to demonstrate freely their hidden potentials while using the different procedures introduced during the research.

Through our presentation, we will illustrate a number of methodologies used to enhance the creative learning process.
Additionally, the study explores the influence of culture, when teaching within an international academic community. We will share authentic experiences, which help to create autonomous critical thinkers and will express the effect of the cultural influences on speakers of English as a second/foreign language (ESL/EFL).

Furthermore, the present research has assessed, the reliability and validity of communication as a means to promote understanding and crossing cultural boundaries.

The research explores the potential development of interest in intercultural communication attitudes, cross-cultural sensitivity and intercultural awareness, and its ultimate influence on the education environment.

Based on research conducted on 107 case studies of Chinese, Thai, Malaysian, Moroccan, Polish, Japanese, French and Indian origin, in a university in Southern China, the importance of sensitivity towards the use of language and cross-cultural curiosity during the education process was generated.

The assessment was based on interaction attentiveness, peer assessment, self monitoring and language sensitivity. The test results showed that besides these, many other co-related aspects existed. For instance, an individual’s self esteem, attitude towards the inter- cultural communication process, willingness to communicate and acceptability in the communication arena.

Results proved, individuals with high scores also showed high Cultural Sensitivity. It established that acquisition of communication skills could not be done in isolation and needed culture studies for the total understanding and appreciation of spoken language as a means of communication.
The results showed the case studies expressing an ardent desire to overcome the cultural divides that existed and a strong curiosity for learning the global culture in relation to their countries of origin.

The Paper demonstrates the experiential pedagogical aspects of enhancing creative expression while acquiring language skills, using various methodologies in an innovative manner to arouse curiosity and override monotony. The instructional strategies used during the research made the learning process fun, resulting in an increased attendance and receptivity of the students.

We invite ardent learners and teachers to attend the presentation to experience the methodologies and add them to their own repertoire of knowledge. The presentation aims to create effective learning environments in a multicultural world.
