Abstract:
The aim of this paper is to analyze how team work can establish the individual final evaluation of the student’s performance. Here we present the report performed by a group of students from the Faculty of Physics, University of Bucharest, titled “Quantum Plasmas”. This report defines the fundamentals of the Plasma Physics and describes the most sophisticated experiments involved in evidencing of the quark-gluon plasma formation in relativistic and ultra-relativistic heavy ions collisions: RHIC-BNL (Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider - Brookhaven National Laboratory) and LHC-CERN (Large Hadron Collider - European Organization for Nuclear Research) [http://brahms.fizica.unibuc.ro/sitecentru/Rapoarte stiintifice.php].
A review of white dwarfs and neutron stars is also included in this report. The analysis comprises a brief study on the evolution of white dwarf research and the derivation of the non-relativistic mass-radius relation taking into account several conditions. A quantum approach to neutron stars is presented along with the famous CBM (Compressed Baryonic Metter) experiment.
This model of working with students used in our Faculty is fully interactive and contributes of dynamic teaching and learning materials. Keywords:
