Abstract:
Aims:
The main objective of this research is to show the importance of skills management and training in employees and how their implementation contributes to an increase in motivation and professional performance, bearing in mind that the increase in these also contributes to an increase in organisational performance.

Methodology:
A questionnaire will be applied based on the studies of (Nascimento, 2018) and (Wima, 2013), with the data processing sequence that is intended to measure the levels of performance and motivation arising from the training that employees received. These are determinants for the growth of human capital.
The data processing will be done using a program to help treat the data obtained. The software to be used in data analysis will be SPSS27/AMOS27. SPSS27 will be used to manage the database and its preliminary statistical treatments and perform descriptive statistics. AMOS27 will be used to estimate a structural equation model based on the links between the different dimensions of the questionnaire.

Results:
The research model was tested by using an estimation method based on structural equations allowed us to understand whether there was a statistically significant cause and effect relationship between Professional Training (Fpro), Organizational Learning (Aorg), Human Resources (RHum), Motivation (Moti) and Professional Performance (Dpro).

Conclusions:
With this study, it was possible to verify that skills management and training are fundamental to developing employees, contributing to positive changes in their performance and motivation. It was also verified that it is the responsibility of the Human Resource Managers and the organisations themselves to show the relevance of the benefits that are achieved by investing in human capital development.
