Abstract:
AQWA Academy is Germany’s largest training and qualification initiative in the water sector for Arab countries. It is a Joint Project co-financed by the German Ministry for Education and Research (BMBF), which aims to export German knowledge on water to Arab countries by using a blended learning concept.
The AQWA Academy educational programme addresses professionals (skilled workers, students, engineers and trainers) in the water supply and sanitation sector.
The Curriculum is based on a blended learning concept, which blends multi-media learning units on an internet platform like presentations, animations, videos, interactive exercises, webinars, etc. with face-to face and in situ trainings.

An advisory board with members from the German Water Sector will assist with Know-How and Practical Experiences.
