Abstract:
This paper deals with the challenges faced by the education system in terms of social and cultural changes taking place in society and the world. The processes of globalization result in the formation of an information civilization, destroying the traditional structural forms of social organization. The destruction of traditional values and cultural space in a transition state of modern society is investigated. The purpose of this paper is to examine ways of creating the cultural environment as tasks of the education system. The problem of rapprochement of cultural diversity to the patterns of mass culture in the minds of people and the ways of its solution are considered. The paper focuses on the processes taking place in the modern educational system, such as the revaluation of values in the transitional period, destructive processes of disorientation, internal destabilization and deep disharmony of human communication and existence. However, the result of these processes is the fact that education is becoming more open. Features of the formation of personality in the mass educational institutions studied. The organization and structure of the mass schools and universities allow us to make education accessible to different segments of the population, stimulate social mobility, increase the educational level of the population, create a symbolic human capital and contribute to the economy. It is concluded that the importance of the teacher's personality and activity in the formation and transmission of basic values increases, as is necessary for the process to ensure the unity and integrity of the society. A professional teacher should possess a whole set of training and educational tools, techniques and technologies that will enable it to form the ethical value orientation of students and compete with institutions of mass culture.Keywords:
