Abstract:
The study aimed to determine the pedagogical conditions for the formation of the readiness of future teachers for professional and ethical interaction with students as an essential condition for ensuring a safe educational environment of schools, as well as diagnostics of the level of this readiness among the students of a pedagogical higher education institution.

The analysis of the scientific research articles showed that separate works are devoted to general problems of security as a socio-cultural phenomenon, as well as the safety of the educational environment (G.A. Atamanov, Yu.I. Bogatyreva, F.K. Mugulov, V.M. Rodagin, A.L. Romanovich, A.O. Ursul and others); problems of formation of the professional readiness of future teachers and the effectiveness of pedagogical interaction and communication (K.M.Durai-Novikova, M.I.Dyachenko, L.A. Kandybovich, N.P. Klushina, R.A. Kokanova, I.B. Kotova, A.V. Mudrik, E.N. Shiyanov and others).

In the current study, the teacher's readiness for professional and ethical interaction with students to ensure a safe educational environment in the school is defined as the ability of a specialist to carry out numerous, purposeful, planned social and psychological contacts with students in order to restore and strengthen their social health.

At the first theoretical stage of the study, the pedagogical conditions for the development of the readiness of future teachers for professional and ethical interaction with students were systematized in the context of the conditions for ensuring a safe educational environment of schools and the following structural components were identified:
- motivational and value-based, including the substantiation of one's pedagogical style, awareness of the meaning of pedagogical activity in the context of the development of the child's personality and the self-development of the teacher himself, the humanistic orientation of the teacher's personality;
- emotional-strong-willed, reflecting the level of development of empathy, emotional self-regulation;
- intellectual and cognitive, assuming the presence of basic knowledge of building professional and ethical interaction with students (the formation of ideas about general cultural norms, values ​​and rules of behaviour; knowledge of the laws of the psychology of communication and pedagogy of interaction);
- efficient and practical, including a set of skills and abilities necessary for the successful implementation of professional and ethical interaction with students.

At the empirical stage of the research, the study of the dynamics of the level of formation of the indicated readiness among Stavropol State Pedagogical Institute students was carried out. The research work was based on the following diagnostic methods: determination of the dominant type of pedagogical orientation (express diagnostics by Yu.A. Korelyakov); diagnostics of the level of empathic abilities V.V. Boyko; "Value orientations" by M. Rokich; a map of the student's professional growth developed by the authors of the study.
