Abstract:
In our international high school, all the students use an Ipad and we want us they work in collaboration as often as possible.
What a good opportunity that a webradio project!
We have decided to build a real webradio studio but we had to wait for several months.
That's why we started with only Ipads : micro and an app for the sound editing are easy to understand, even for young students.
But they first analysed professional reports to understand how it was made. They discovered that you must look for information, that you can write a story with sounds and voices, but even that they have to write too.
All the recorded sounds were put in the Google drive by Classroom and everybody in the team could work on the sound editing in the same time.
Collaboration was an evidence but differentiation too. Students could do exactly what they want or what they can : recording, writting, editing, mixing, talking in front of the microphones...
This project finally became a real webradio with a studio and professional sound recorder for the reports, but the way to manage to produce a good job is still the same... and our students grew in collaborative, enthusiastic, well informed and very engaged citizens. Keywords:
