Abstract:
Talking about the border is an important part of the present culture. On the border, ideas and objects share identity with other ideas and objects. A border region between two countries is not only a boundary between them, is a third space, a strip to both sides of the border where two cultures merge and influence one another.

The border between Mexico and the United States is not only the famous hostile place for human dramas of those seeking eagerly, and at the cost of death, the American Dream. It is also fertile ground for the growth of a new culture as a result of the interplay of two peoples/nations, this culture, forms a fringe on both sides of the border, an area where usually the way of life does not represent one or the other country, where visual syncretism, miscegenation language, contrasts, cultural and economic exchange are the constant.

Under these conditions, the artistic activity in the border is abundant and is expressed in multiple fields. The purpose of this paper is to show the sociological conditions in the northern (or southern USA) border of Mexico, particularly in Tijuana, and perceive this culture throughout their artistic work and cultural graph fusion between these countries.
