Abstract:
The aim of this study is to identify the factors influencing one of the areas of the educational process in the information society and to provide insight into how these processes are influenced by cultural and linguistic diversity in the context of the digital society, from the perspective of teachers of general technical subjects, their thinking, skills and behaviour.

Despite the assimilationist approaches, cultural pluralism following the concept of cultural citizenship, where cultural pluralism is not seen as a disruption of difference but in fact as its civic and public emphasis, which becomes visible in the study of transnationalism, the information society is still reflected in a particular light. The movement of people between home and host countries, social, financial and electronic networks in relation to issues of ethnic identity and the creation of cultural spaces are topics that need not only to be professionally studied and described, but also integrated into educational processes, even those primarily focused on technology. But are today's teachers of technical subjects sufficiently prepared and competent to address these topics and transform them into the teaching process? Or do they rely on the fact that technology knows no borders, nationalities, skin colour or gender?
