Abstract:
Mass media as the biggest client’s favorite media in various areas of the world are activated to do various activities in different aspects of human life. One of the important capabilities of mass media can be training. Mass media can expose the peoples to the outside environment other than the class and school only. Also, the media play a dominant role in the learning process. Media has potential to shape personalities, change the way we perceive and understand the world and our immediate reality. Media can be a bilateral manager in the programming of population education. On the other hand, with the on-going development of information and technology in the society, media has given particular attention to the need of education and cultural diversity and promoted media consciousness among individuals. Last but not the least, Media has opened a new dimension and gave a new meaning to education. Education has become more entertaining like never before. This reduces the distance between people and the policy makers and other sources of education such as e-learning and e-education. In fact, in different stages of information technology entrance in education mass media can have a significant role. In this study we discuss the role of mass media in multiple levels of IT entrance in education which consists of study, design, development, implementation, support and management of the IT program.
