Abstract:
This paper presents the new work proposed to be used in the first course of the new graduate degrees that will be introduced in the academic year 2010-2011 at the University Miguel Hernandez of Elche, in the Mechanical Engineering, eclectic and telecommunications degree.
With AutoCAD software can make precise shapes in 2D and 3D and is intended to use this tool to explain concepts such as:
• Types of line.
• Projective Transformations
• homographs and homologies
• transformations, rotations and projections of solids.
• Representation systems.
• Projections dihedral
• Geometric Primitives
• Tangencies
• Intersection of surfaces
• Collection of views normalized by the cylindrical projection angle.
• General principles of boundedness
• Engineering Symbology
• Etc.
The initiative of “Technical Drawing” teaching staff aims to help students to understand the knowledge explained in the theoretical sessions. It allow to do exercises more easily and quickly than obtained by long hand using square and bevel. Also this project will let pupils learn to use of CAD programs that are commonly used in engineering.
