Abstract:
We live in era of Information Technology. Learning processes are influenced by environments and tools that we used for communication between students and teachers. Linking ICT tools with effective education we can find high quality e-learning system. The paper deals with analysis of virtual environment focused on effective e-learning educational system in the Czech Republic which can be appropriately used in education of adults at the Philosophical Faculty of Palacký University in Olomouc. The first part of the paper provides detailed analysis of the available educational tools applicable to virtual environment in the Czech Republic. The following part describes the requirements defined by relevant stakeholders – students and teachers of the Philosophical Faculty of Palacký University in Olomouc. Requirements and expectations of students and teachers were collected in 2013. The conclusion offers recommendation of software and tools which are the most suitable for Philosophical Faculty of Palacký University in Olomouc and will be used in general educational process.Keywords:
