Abstract:
Nowadays, universities must promote the employability of their graduates, providing them with training that enhances and develops their sense of initiative and entrepreneurship. In order to achieve this entrepreneurial spirit, the use of innovative and motivating methodologies, such as gamification, along with an adequate intention of the teaching staff as a determining factor in the adoption of teaching methodologies, are required.

The main objective of this study is to analyze the intention of use of gamification by university faculty as a teaching methodology, aimed at developing university students' entrepreneurship. To do so, a quantitative exploratory design, consisting of a predictive model that includes both personal variables of the university teaching staff and those explanatory of their intention of use, is proposed.

The results show a general positive intention of teaching staff towards the use of gamification. Likewise, among the variables proposed, perceived usefulness and age are the variables that explain to a greater extent the intention of the teaching staff towards the use gamification.

To the best of our knowledge, there is little scientific evidence in the literature regarding this topic, so this work addresses the gap research and contributes expanding knowledge about professors and the gamification of entrepreneurship education.
