During the corona crisis, the Center for Multimedia Education was established at the University of Constantine the Philosopher in Nitra. The aim of the established multimedia education center is to ensure direct contact of university teachers and students of pedagogical, non-pedagogical and artistic fields with modern digital technologies applicable in the educational process. The center offers the opportunity for individual and group education of target groups. The orientation to specific multimedia technologies is based on current requirements of educational practice. The paper focuses on the application of digital skills and multimedia technologies in education at the University of Constantine the Philosopher in Nitra during the corona virus pandemic. It describes in detail what technologies have been used during online education in the field of digital skills and multimedia technologies. The secondary objectives were to find out how satisfied the students were with the online education and to verify their skills in creating didactic multimedia teaching aids.
