Abstract:
The paper deals with the possibilities of using the social network Facebook and LMS Moodle as supporting tools in university education. We focus on the experiences and opinions of students on this type of educational support and we also describe our own experiences. The use of Facebook in education has led us especially to improve communication between the teacher and the student.

The main objective of the paper is to describe the possibilities of using Facebook and LMS Moodle as supporting educational tools in university studies. Partial objectives of the paper investigate: students' opinions on the use of the Facebook social network in education, students' opinions on the created course in LMS Moodle on the subject Multimedia in education with the view of mastering the required curriculum, comparison of Facebook and LMS Moodle as educational tools in university education with the view of the student and the teacher.

The use of electronic devices such as computers, laptops, smartphones and modern didactic aids create a certain amount of electrosmog. Therefore, our next goal was to measure the amount of electrosmog in computer classrooms and analyze its possible impact on students and the educational process.

To achieve the objectives we used the following methods:
1. Literary method, to determine the current state of the issue and the necessary software, hardware respectively. personal requirements for work and operation of LMS Moodle and social network Facebook.
2. Attitudes to find out attitudes of students to social network and LMS Moodle as supporting educational means.
3. Observation and interview to verify the questionnaire and objectives.
4. Electrosmog measurement using a measuring instrument.
