Abstract:
The present paper aims to analyze the desirable behavior of teachers in the pre-university educational system in Romania. The paper consists of two parts:
- a theoretical part: what is the deontological code and its role in forming a desirable behavior in the case of a professional, as well as the regulations provided in the Framework Code of Ethics of pre-university teachers in Romania, approved by the Ministry of National Education by order 4831/2018 and which applies to the Romanian pre-university educational system starting with 2019. Aiming to carry out teaching, in the pre-university education units, in a climate of collaboration and competition according to correct rules, the Framework Code addresses all those involved in the teaching activity: teaching staff, management staff, auxiliary teaching staff, associate teaching staff:
- a practical part: which presents the results of a research carried out between October and November 2021 and attended by Master degree students of the University of” December the 1st 1918” in Alba Iulia specialization Educational Management, all participants being teachers in pre-university education in Romania.

During this research, a questionnaire was applied to the participants in which they were asked to refer to the norms of conduct of teachers in pre-university education in Romania: the protection of physical, mental and moral health of direct beneficiaries of education, prohibition of any activities that generate corruption , ensuring equal opportunities and promoting the principles of inclusive education, respecting the dignity and recognition of the personal merit of each direct beneficiary of education. Starting from here, the participants analyzed: the importance of these norms of conduct of the teacher, their role in the activity of the teacher, as well as the changes that can be brought to them due to the future evolution of the society. The proposed hypothesis was: the use of rules of conduct, within the activity of the professional, contributes to the formation of a desirable behavior of the professional in relation to the beneficiary of his activity. The target group was represented by the Master students from the study program Educational Management, teachers in the pre-university education system in Romania.
