With the evolution of the technological and digital media, there is a greater concern with the issues of the use of technology for accessibility, that is, it seeks to include more effectively people with disabilities. In the midst of new technologies, many Open Source tools like Moodle (Modular Object-Oriented Dynamic Learning Environment) have been adapted for this purpose, providing new learning objects. Digital communication objects extend the possibility of inclusion and learning, especially deaf people using sign language as a means of communication. However, virtual learning environments need appropriate objects that collaborate and broaden the access of these individuals. The Campus Palhoça Bilíngue - IFSC virtual learning environment - Moodle, in regard to teaching and communication extends the possibility of learning and inclusion. However, this environment and the user’s home page need adaptations to expand the access and navigation. Thus, the goal is to present part of the virtual environment’s enhancement with changes to its login page and the change of style held in the courses list page to a courses page in a visual format through a prototype and interaction test.
