Abstract:
from the definition of blogging, the identification of its resources and how to make the relationships among the participants of a blog, we try to outline a set of components for use in higher education. In the context of the use of new technologies in education, it is important to check the possibilities of using this device for communication and collaborative strategy and describes what happens to participation, autonomy, the learning and collaboration in this virtual environment. A blog with educational character becomes an environment of immersion and collective construction of knowledge that enables communication and collaboration, promoting interpersonal contact, being an area of social interaction. The autonomy, the search and cooperation are part of that building shared over the Internet. The role of the teacher in this case has to be the mediator, the organizer, facilitator for the occurrence of the effective participation of all. According to Franco and Sampaio (1999) the school is currently based on overly oral culture and the printed text (SANCHO, apud FRANCO; SAMPAIO, 1999), so that incorporate its everyday language other languages such as plastic, the television, the kinesthesia, the theater, the musical, the new technologies and others, has been a challenge. Languages in which they are subject while immersed in the historical culture of our time. A time marked by new forms of communication and access to a wide range of information quickly, multiple, networked, changing our relationship with time and space. It is urgent that the school incorporates his teaching to the different languages; it opens the possibility for the student's access to these languages and expands their universe. More extensive is your understanding of the real, less threatened will face the challenges posed by new forms of communication. As the basis of this study, we analyze the Blog (collective and private) of the discipline called Education, Communication and Technology of the UDESC master's degree in Education, created in the first half of 2008 in order to be a collaborative space, joint production, a device for information, Communication, organization and interaction between students of the discipline. The cyberspace is pointing to new actors in the production and processing of knowledge, and new forms of ownership of knowledge. Reflect on the contributions that blogs can bring to superior education expands our understanding of how education can take advantage of current technological development. Keywords:
