Abstract:
While the adaptation process to the European Space for Higher Education various methodologies of active teaching have been introduced with the aim of ensuring that students become more involved in the learning process.
This approach has done that teachers reformulate their teaching methodologies to focus more on learning of the students, which implies a design activities that require the student involvement in the training and a planning the evaluation of their learning looking for the best way to show their progress.
The present article introduces the portfolio as a method of evaluation. The role of the portfolio as part of an active teaching technique is described, as well as the place it occupies in the global evaluation of the acquisition of the abilities required by this subject.
As a result of this analysis is proposing a guide to implementation of the portfolio of student that can be applied to the different disciplines and that therefore directed in the implementation of this method.
The main aims show the article is:
- Presenting some models and modalities of learning that contribute to the autonomous learning of the student.
- Consider the extent to which contributes the implementation of the portfolio in the assessment of the acquisition of skills by students.
- Obtain criteria for the implementation of the portfolio of student as a method of evaluation.
