Abstract:
At the dawn of the 20th century while humanity has increasingly integrated into a virtual world, educational concepts have gone through important changes. Thus, the objective of this research is to review two main modalities in education which can be enhanced through technology: streaming education and online learning. With the increasingly use of youtube, researchers realized that information, which was previously flat and visual, was transformed into video and started a long way where it allows the user to empower and build their knowledge based on tutorials and animations. Currently the evolution of technology have created a different path, marked by a growing need to experience live video, which is nothing more than the transmission of digital content in real time.

Therefore, it is necessary to analyze the impact generated by the transmission of live educational content in comparison with the learning that can be obtained through tutorial videos and online platforms. The research is based on literature review and surveys which allow to identify the strengths and weaknesses of each of the proposed standards, and how they affect the acquisition of knowledge of students.

Online education is an educational strategy, based on the intensive use of new technologies, and highly efficient pedagogical methods in the teaching-learning process, which aims to overcome the limitations of time, space, occupation or age of the students factors for learning. Virtual education is a very good learning alternative for those who can not access a traditional university or take courses in the traditional way. It is also a good learning alternative because the educational model that must be developed in them is based on meaningful learning in which the student builds his own knowledge and the teacher provides the tools. Nowadays, as a result of the globalization that has manifested itself in most of the world, which has brought great technological advances in education, various fields have taken advantage of the new technology, due to the ease and speed with which a large amount of information can be handled.

It is clear that this type of argument is based in most cases on the student's perception of their environment, but it is also important to understand that the student, object of this study, analyze the pros and cons of the implementation of both technologies, this is where the importance of the tutor working with either using streaming video tools or elements of online information management is helpful to investigate. Further discussion of this research give insights into a hybrid scheme in which both technologies can be combined.
