A NEW APPROACH FOR PUBLISHING MULTIMEDIA EDUCATIONAL MATERIAL PRODUCED BY UNIVERSIDAD DE JAEN

Considering the experience acquired in previous works on educational innovation, we designed an activity to augment the number of sources employed by students to follow a higher education course. In this sense, the professor in charge of a subject develops multimedia material -including videos, presentations and other documentation- that will be published and distributed on a worldwide platform as iTunesU, YouTube or equivalent. By introducing these information references to the scholars, an additional access knowledge published by different universities and other instructional foundations is provided. Even more, this experience can be employed as an example to guide the educational stuff in Universidad de Jaen in order to broadcast academic and investigation activities developed in the institution. As an additional fact, students are also involved in the production of video and audio information that describes the working they bring about during practical activities, in this sense, undergraduates initiate new skills in communication their expertise.
