Abstract:
Our offer consists of extracting the premises that could include the indeterminate things as usable factor in the education from the creative process, looking for the possibilities of adjustment to other educational procedures.
The approach that we formulate is taking as a creative experimentation pattern in the field of the fine arts based in a specific type of work of art; the printing of work of graphical original art. We propose the process of creation of the artistic engraving as a base of experimentation in the education, linking the exploration of the creative possibilities of the random thing in the creation of the work of art to a creative learning process. Likewise, to investigate educationally appears not only from a simply technical point of view, but as a search of the conceptual values that accumulates the creative act of a potential or virtuality that connects with the most lyric values of the creation.
The development of the investigation on educational methods supports in the creation of prototypes, models of printing and prints realized along that of the educational work as teacher of engraving of the Fine Arts University School of “Miguel Hernandez” in Altea (Valencia Country, Spain). So that the experiences that the teacher realizes in the workshop direct the process of plastic creation of the pupil thanks to the systematizing with which they are constructed, providing the students of contents who give sense to the different achievements reached by them as representation of the expressive motivations of the student of fine arts. The interest that moves us to this educational investigation is more similar to a metaphor of the imagination of the artist than to the teaching of the expert engraver in his work.
Our method of education departs from a theoretical-practical procedure of work in which the models of essay consist of establishing before the results of the tests realized in the workshop (The Working Proofs.) These "working proofs" serve us to recognize the moment in which the student finds the sense of his work of art in the suggestions, in the poetical images that the artist might express, everything who will serve us to try to speculate about most of intimate expression of the apprentice of artist, and this is a motivation decisive to value this way of understanding the education.
We can consider the concept of the art to be a "process" in the sense of interior experience, which constitutes the principal idea of this educational offer. What we see, we feel and think, while the hand carry out, it concerns the treatment of the image so much or more than the technical control, what traditionally it has been called " A skill ". This means to recognize the importance of the capacity of surprise of the student in front of the unforeseen finds as an element consubstantial to the quality in the work of art. On the coherence with the creative speech motivated by " the eventful thing " there slips the idea of "the illusory thing", as the quality of the work of art, so that the educational offer neither can must not even elude the lens that the results include the "provocative" nature of the imagination that it enriches to the art. The gradual process of transformation that it characterizes to the work of art, with the wide possibilities of gradual construction, provides us with an educational suitable model, both for its material achievements and for its conceptual construction.
