Abstract:
Global expansion towards the digital economy requires individuals to possess digital skills for success in work and life. Digital skills have become essential across all sectors, including education and educational supervision. Educational supervision aims to keep up with the global digital transformation and align with Oman Vision 2040. Educational supervisors must not only have digital skills but also possess the self-competence to effectively utilize these skills to achieve desired goals.

This study aims to assess the level of digital skills among educational supervisors and identify statistically significant differences in the study sample's responses based on demographic variables such as gender, job position, and years of experience. To achieve the study's objectives, a descriptive methodology will be used, employing an online questionnaire sent to a random sample of educational supervisors and senior teachers in schools in the Muscat Governorate. The study will generate a set of proposed measures to enhance the role of digital skills in enhancing the self-competence of educational supervisors in line with Oman Vision 2040.
