Abstract:
The current generations of students are members of the Net-generation, already possessed of advanced ICT knowledge and skills such as multitasking, interactiveness, network-based group work in collaborative environments etc. at enrolment at universities and colleges. The sophisticated use of digital technologies combined with essentially different attitude to information and media naturally lead to changes in the Net-generation’s approach to learning, which also creates their different expectations in comparison with what the established educational system and traditional learning at universities offer.

This article presents the results of research into the willingness of the students of the Faculty of Economics in Subotica to actively contribute to the quality of courses by being more Web 2.0 content creators than Web 2.0 content consumers collaboratively creating university Web 2.0 contents using blogs, wikis, multimedia sharing and social networking sites.
