Abstract:
Teaching in the 21st Century focuses on internationalization of education, which includes the policies about effective communication. Language is very important that are used to communicate by different people, especially English language. Thailand government has the policies that Thai people can use English to communicate with neighbors in ASEAN and use educational technology as well. For my work, I teach English language for the primary students. I found some problems that are students have less knowledge and language acquisition, lack of interest in learning English, and ignorance of basic vocabulary. Moreover, the diversity of race and culture is important problem. Different students have to learn together including Thai, Burmese, and Hmong (hill tribe). Teacher must teach with cross-cultural collaborative arrangements. So, I was interested to study the development of electronic courseware entitled “English vocabulary” by using mother tongue-based for prathom suksa 4 students in the multicultural school. I hope to encourage students to learn by using computer technology, to eliminate the diversity of race and culture and to increase their knowledge of English vocabulary by using mother tongue-based. Students will be proud in their mother tongue and mainly use in correlating learning English, have positive attitudes towards learning English effectively.

The purpose of this study were to:
1) create and find out efficiency of Electronic courseware entitled English vocabulary by using mother tongue-based for Prathom Suksa 4 students in the multicultural school
2) compare the learning achievement in English vocabulary :
2.1) compare learning achievement in English vocabulary before and after learning with Electronic courseware and
2.2) compare learning achievement in English vocabulary of Thai students, Burmese student, and Hmong students.
3) study the satisfaction of the students:
3.1) study the satisfaction of the students towards Electronic courseware entitled English vocabulary by using mother tongue-based for Prathom Suksa 4 students in the multicultural school.
3.2) compare the satisfaction of Thai students, Burmese student, and Hmong students.

The samples in this study were 30 students of Prathom Suksa 4/1 at Pluluangwittaya School by Purposive Sampling.

The instruments of this study were:
1) Electronic courseware entitled English vocabulary by using mother tongue-based for Prathom Suksa 4 students in the multicultural school
2) The quality assessment form of Electronic courseware
3) The achievement test with 30 questions and multiple choice 4 choices.
4) The satisfaction questionnaire of the students towards Electronic courseware.

Data were analyzed statistically using mean ( ), standard deviation (S.D.), t-test Dependent, and One-way ANOVA by SPSS.

The results of this study revealed as the followings;
1) The efficiency of Electronic courseware entitled English vocabulary by using mother tongue-based for Prathom Suksa 4 students in the multicultural school was 80.17/82.89.
2) The comparison of the students’ learning achievement with Electronic courseware was post-test was higher than pre-test with a significant level .05 and the learning achievement of Thai students, Burmese students and Hmong students were not different.
3) The satisfaction of the students towards Electronic courseware was at high level and the satisfaction of Thai students, Burmese students and Hmong students were not different.
