Abstract:
COIL is a Collaboration between students and professors that provides meaningful, significant opportunities for global experiences built into programs of study.

COIL enhances intercultural student-team-focused interaction through proven approaches to meaningful online and virtual engagement while providing universities a cost-effective way to ensure their students are globally engaged.

A course was created aiming to start collaboration and multicultural experiences. The results vary from the initial scope.
We use as a methodology the COIL fundamentals and use diverse online platforms to carry out the courses as Teams, Blackboard, Facebook, and WhatsApp.

We started in 2021 with one group from each university and applied Lescant Model to start the discussion, interaction, and cultural activities. We continue the same process until 2022. At the beginning of 2022, we expand the scope and add a research methodology to complete the outcome. We experienced 7 accepted works in an international conference and repeat the same at the beginning of 2023. At the professor level, the publications among them increase each year.

We can conclude that experimenting with international interaction between students and professors is favorable not only for the academic, research, and foreign language side but for all multicultural experiences.
