Abstract:
Purpose:
The aim of this research was to determine the effects of cognitive and metacognitive strategies training on self efficacy.
Method: In this quasi-experimental design with pretest - posttest control group and for sampling Multistage cluster random sampling method was used thus from Kerman payamnoor universities be selected rafsanjan payamnoor university and selected fields of humanistic science and sciences 54 students participating who were randomly assigned in two groups. The experimental group was attended in 8 sessions of cognitive and metacognitive strategies training and were evaluated by self efficacy questioner. SPSS software was used for analyzing data's. The statistical analyses were ANCOVA.

Results:
Results of this research show that training of cognitive and metacognitive strategies improved of self efficacy .

Conclusion:
According to research findings indicate that learning strategies can be taught and learned and learning strategies can be effected on self efficacy therefore, teachers must trying for training these strategies to students and notice Students how to learn and improve skills.
